Miguel Escobar AIA is a Los Angeles native and graduate of the University of Southern California School of Architecture.
His broad industry knowledge stems from not only his architectural leadership role in many design industry sectors and building typologies but also as a long-serving board member of a non-profit development corporation gaining perspective as design client and stakeholder.
Prior to founding Angelworks in 1990 Miguel was a design team leader and project director with the internationally recognized firm of Moore Ruble Yudell where he worked collaboratively with principal architect thought-leaders including Charles Moore. His achievements included:

Creation is enriched and informed by commitment to community service. Coinciding with founding Angelworks Miguel joined the Board of Directors of New Economics for Women, a non-profit corporation advocating for economic justice and mobility for women and their families based in downtown Los Angeles.
